Introduction
Read your Daylite tasks, projects, sections and saved filters over HTTPS.
The Daylite API is a REST API at https://api.daylite.me/v1. It returns JSON and authenticates
with a personal API key. Everything you can read here comes from the same account data that the
Daylite desktop and web apps sync, so changes made in the apps appear immediately.
Read-only for now
This version can read data. Creating and updating tasks, and an MCP server for AI assistants, are next.
Quickstart
- In Daylite, open Settings → Developer and create an API key. Copy it; it is shown only once.
- Call the API with the key as a Bearer token:
curl https://api.daylite.me/v1/tasks?due_to=2026-11-09 \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $DAYLITE_API_KEY"{
